Profedica: Journal of Teacher Education and Professional Development is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Local Wisdom Research (LWR). The journal publishes high-quality original research articles and review articles in the field of teacher education and professional development.

The journal provides a platform for the dissemination of rigorous and relevant scholarship that contributes to the advancement of teacher education, teacher professionalism, instructional practice, and continuing professional development across educational contexts.

Profedica is published twice a year, in July and December.
